Andrew Tanser: Carver, Designer, Sculptor

Public Art detail

The success of the scheme, I believe, depended largely on the choice of Andy Tanser who had experience of working in workshops and collaborating with builders and a design team, as well as being a highly talented sculptor/artist in his own right. He proved to be an ideal project organiser.

He quickly established an excellent working relationship with Alison (Alison Atkins) who perhaps not as experienced as Andy nevertheless contributed hugely, not only with her own work, but in the general running of the scheme with the rest of the team.”

Part of an ongoing regeneration programme.
